To do my duty to God
Creator and life-giver, remind me of:-
Your constant presence;
Your purpose for my life;
Your call to follow Christ
Help me to respond in thankfulness, worship
and service;
That I may be a good citizen and loyal church
member.
And the Queen
Make me grateful for my nation, and its legacy
of peace and freedom;
But sorry that there is so much wrong in society;
Help me to work usefully, and share what I have
with those in need;
And use my powers of leadership with humility.
To serve other people
Open my eyes and ears to the needs of others;
Use my skills for the benefit of others;
Let me find happiness in helping others.
To obey our laws
Help me to find a style of life that satisfies;
To become wiser as I grow older;
To be the best I can be;
To offer all I do in this Movement to God.
