| Background |
| This year's AMSAG camp will be the 13th biennial camp run by the association. The camp is open to both Scout Troops and Guide Companies sponsored by or attached to the Methodist Church, and those Troops and Companies run by Methodist Scouters and Guiders even if their Unit is not sponsored by or attached to the Methodist Church. |
| The organisers of the camp aim to provide a complete programme of activities for Scouts and Guides (with something for their Leaders). |
| The Site |
| The site extends over 50 acres. Cooking may be done on alter-based fires or gas cookers - there is easy access to well stocked wood-piles. There are modern toilet facilities with hot and cold water, including non-metered hot showers. All campsites are served with water points. Refreshments and souvenirs may be purchased from the Trading Post. |
| On site activities include abseiling, archery, cork pistol shooting, grass sledging, orienteering, pioneering, swimming and volleyball. |
| Off site activities for AMSAG camp will include canoeing, rafting and a 'day trip' to Drayton Manor Theme Park. |
| Programme (Provisional) |
| The theme of the camp will be 'TV World'. The camp programme is set out below. |
| It is expected that ALL Leaders will go on all the trips and take part in the on-site activities. Leaders will, however, be asked to run, supervise or help with some of the activities and bases. |
| Troops and Companies are responsible for their own catering. |
